What Is NAIO™?
The NAIO™ process (from the Ancient Greek "ναίω," meaning "I dwell") is a gentle, holistic awareness practice developed by former professional surfer and wellness educator Prue Jeffries, MSME/T. As one of the world's leading surfers, Prue designed NAIO™ as a uniquely experiential approach shaped by her lifelong connection to water, nature, and the human body. For over three decades, she has refined and expanded this practice through ongoing exploration and teaching across diverse fields of wellness, creating a nurturing and supportive method grounded in somatic education principles that guides individuals back to their innate bodily wisdom. I am grateful and fortunate to be studying directly with Prue for over a year now.
